Magnetic Level Gauge is mechanical level measuring instrument without power supply ,this level gauge can also output signal by mounting the smart transmitter .The transmitter is tied to the outside of the main pipe of the magnetic flap level sensor by a clamp, so that it is in the same magnetic field system as the level sensor. When the magnetic float moves up and down with the level gauge, the dry reed core at the corresponding position affected by the magnetic field in the float, the resistance value changes, and the changed resistance signal is converted into a 4-20mADC standard signal through the conversion module, and transmitted to the secondary instrument, PLC, DCS, so as to realize the liquid level displaying, control, adjustment and alarm purpose.

The liquid level control switch is fixed on the outside of the magnetic float level gauge,so it is in the same magnetic field system of the level gauge. When the magnetic float moves up and down with the liquid level, the reed switch is affected by the magnetic field in the float, and the changing signal is converted into a passive switch signal output through the conversion module. The liquid level switch is fixed on the measuring duct cylinder by a clamp; the fixed position can be adjusted, and the user can adjust the height according to the real needs
In order to make the magnetic flap level gauge better used, it is necessary to install and use it correctly:
1. In order to ensure the normal operation of magnetic float level gauge, the surrounding area cannot be close to magnetic substances, and the gauge cannot be fixed with iron wire.
2. A valve should be installed between the magnetic liquid level gauge and the tanks to cut off the use of materials during cleaning and maintenance.
3. For the 304 lined PTFE anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge, because the float and flange joint adopts a unique sealing structure, special tools are required for assembly. In order to ensure the reliability of the sealing, it is forbidden to disassemble it without permission after leaving the factory.
4. After installation, it needs to be calibrated with magnetic steel to make the magnetic level gauge display silvery white above the zero position.
5. When it is put into operation, firstly open the upper pipe valve of the anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge, and then slowly open the lower pipe valve to allow the liquid medium to flow in smoothly, avoiding the liquid medium from rising rapidly with the float and causing the film to turn. Reversal failure or disorder (in case of this phenomenon, magnetic steel can be used for correction).
6. There should be no solid impurities in the duct pipe of magnetic liquid level gauge to avoid blockage or damage to the duct pipe. The duct pipes can be cleaned regularly according to the medium condition to remove the impurities inside .
7. When electric heating is used, non-magnetic materials, such as copper tubes, must be used. In addition, the temperature of the tracing needs to be adjusted according to the specific conditions of the medium.
