TY2AS L865/864 is a solar dual red/white LED medium intensity beacon and illuminates white light 20,000 candelas at daytime and red light 2,000 candelas at night. L865/864 model is compliant to ICAO medium intensity type A/B.Solar function makes it a self-
contained and almost care-free light unit.
The fixture is equipped with a 12V12Ah VRLA (valve regulated lead acid) rechargeable battery which could power the light up to 3-4 days when the weather is in cloudy&rainy days. Robust body built and surface coating provides good protection against harsh
environments.
The light system is composed of 3 parts: light, battery box and solar panel. When the light and solar panel connected to the battery box, the whole system can be mounted on a tower. And the solar panel is angle-adjustable from 15 to 60 degrees. It enables TY2AS to adapt to different latitudes and collect as much solar energy as possible. Embedded MPPT (Maximized Power Point Tracking) microcontroller maximizes solar power output.Incorporated SBM (Smart Battery Management) program reduces energy consumption By detecting ambient solar irradiance, TY2AS can self-adjust LED outputs for extending autonomy. It also protects the VRLA battery pack from over-charging and over discharging.
An optional GPS function allows TY2AS units with GPS module to flash synchronously.
