Product Description The disc separator is specially used for the two-phase and three- phase separation. The two-phase separation is to separate the suspended solid from liquid or two liquids which have the different specific gravity and are immiscible. The three-phase separation is to separate the two immiscible liquid phases and a phase of solid at the same time.

1. Liquid solid separation ( separation of bottom concentration suspension), which is called clarification operation, that is two-phase separation. 2. Liquid-liquid separation (or liquid-liquid-solid) separation (separation of emulsion) is called separation operation,that is three-phase separation. Feature 1. The drum has undergone precise dynamic balance verification, ensuring smooth operation, low vibration, and low noise during operation.
2. All components in contact with materials are made of stainless steel material, which can effectively reduce the corrosive effect of separated materials and meet food hygiene requirements. 3. Equipped with a stationary light and heavy phase discharge centripetal pump. The separated light and heavy two-phase materials are respectively output from the light and heavy phases at the top of the drum to the central pump, with the light phase entering the next process. 4. The power transmission adopts a hydraulic coupling and a pair of spiral speed increasing gears, which use liquid to transmit power, ensuring stable speed increase and overload protection. 5. Equipped with automatic control cabinet. It is composed of industrial computers and machine overload automatic protectors, with a high degree of automation, strong adaptability to process adjustment, convenient adjustment, and can greatly reduce the operating intensity of workers. Working Principle There is a set of disc shaped parts that are stacked together inside the drum - namely the disc. There is a small gap between the discs. The suspension (or emulsion) is fed into the drum from the feed pipe at the center of the drum. When the suspension (or emulsion) flows through the gap between the discs, solid particles (or droplets) will settle on the discs under the action of the centrifuge to form sediment (or liquid layer). The sediment slides along the surface of the disc and separates from the disc, accumulating in the area with the largest diameter inside the drum. The separated liquid is discharged from the drum through the outlet.The function of discs is to shorten the settling distance of solid particles (or droplets) and expand the settling area of the drum. The installation of discs in the drum greatly improves the production capacity of the separator. The solid accumulated in the drum is automatically discharged from the drum without stopping the machine through the slag removal mechanism.
