Calcium silicon is mainly used for steel-making and cast iron production.
The affinity of calcium and silicon with oxygen is very large, and the deoxidation products are easy to float and easy to discharge. So the deoxidizing steel liquid of silicon calcium alloy is pure. When the high quality steel and special alloy are made, the silicon calcium alloy is used as deoxidizer.

Application:
1 In the steel industry,used as deoxidizer,desulfurizer and denaturation of non-metallic inclusions.
2 It is suitable for warming agent in converter steelmaking plant.
3 In cast iron production,the calcium silicon alloy have inoculation ed to form fine grained or spheroidal graphite;
4.In the grey cast iron Graphite distribution uniformity,reduce chilling tendency,and can increase silicon,desulfurization,improve the quality of cast iron.
