DESCRIPTION
Anjeka 4420 is a liquid rheological additive suitable for water-borne coatings and adhesives. The additive produces highly thixotropic fluidity to improve sag resistance and settling resistance. The additive can be added later.

Density: 1.1 g/ml (25℃)
Viscosity: 300-1600 cps (25℃)
Non-volatile matter (20 min., 150 ℃): 50%
Solvents: N-Methylpyrrolidone
STOREGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Temperature sensitive. Store in dry condition. Slight turbidity of the material that occurs during the storage has no influence on the rheological effectiveness.
APPLICATION
The additive should be added to the coating system under moderate shear to ensure uniform and rapid dispersion. After being stirred into the coating system, the additive generates a three-dimensional network structure. The resulting thixotropic flow characteristic is highly suited for preventing the sedimentation of particals and increasing the anti-sagging properties without impairing leveling.
RECOMMENDED ADDITION LEVEL
0.2-1% additive (as supplied) based upon the total formulation to prevent settling;
0.5-2% to prevent sagging, depending on the solids in the formulation.
PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
The additive should be added whilst stirring and distributed homogeneously. It is not necessary to control the temperature. The additive is also suitable for adjusting the viscosity afterwards by incorporating it as a post-additive.
