Perlite powder is a type of vitreous rock formed by sharp cooling of acidic lava from volcanic eruptions. The Perlite sand is finely and ultrafine crushed and used as filler in rubber and plastic products, pigments, paints, inks, synthetic glass, insulating formulas,and some mechanical components and equipment.
The expanded perlite has become a new type of lightweight, versatile material.It is characterized by light apparent density, low thermal conductivity, good chemical stability, wide range of temperature, small hygroscopicity, non-toxic, odorless, fire
prevention, sound absorption, etc., and is widely used in a variety of industrial sectors.
