Chiller condensers/heat exchangers are often suffer from fouling and scaling, resulting in lower cooling efficiency and energy consumption increasing, Makes user has to pay the extra expenses and do extra work.
The fouling in the pipeline is a poor heat conductor. Compared with the good heat conduction of the copper pipeline, the thermal conductivity is more than 300 times; when the fouling is 1 mm, the heat transfer efficiency is reduced by 40%, and the additional power consumption is increased by more than 30%.
