A gasket is a sealing element used to prevent leakage of liquid or gas, often used to fill gaps in mechanical assemblies. They come in many different types and materials, including rubber, polyester, polyurethane, PTFE, copper, stainless steel, and more. Washers are widely used in automobiles, machinery, construction, electronics, medical and other fields.
Washers can be divided into two categories: metal washers and non-metal washers. Metal washers are generally made of steel, copper, aluminum and other metal materials, with high strength and corrosion resistance; non-metal washers are made of rubber, polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene and other materials, with good sealing and buffering performance.
Non-metallic gaskets are usually made of rubber, polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene and other materials, and have good sealing and buffering properties. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sealing rings are often used for sealing requirements of high temperature, high pressure and corrosive media due to their excellent chemical stability and high temperature resistance.
Polyurethane seals have good wear, oil and solvent resistance and are suitable for piston and plunger sealing applications, providing reliable sealing under medium to high pressure conditions.
They can withstand different working environments such as high pressure, high temperature, chemical corrosion, etc., and are widely used in mechanical equipment, automobiles, aerospace, chemical industry, petroleum and other fields.
