Magnetic powder cores have uniformly distributed air gaps and are mainly used in power inductor applications, especially in output filters of switch mode power supplies (SMPS), also known as DC inductors. Other applications of power sources include differential mode inductors, buck boost inductors, and flyback transformers. The biggest characteristics of this type of shape are high resistivity, low hysteresis and low eddy current losses, as well as excellent inductance stability under DC and AC conditions. In addition, Meici's magnetic powder core material does not use organic binders, so there will be no thermal aging phenomenon that occurs when using iron powder cores.
Magnetic ferrite cores are composed of iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), and zinc (Zn), commonly known as manganese zinc ferrite. Ferrite has low coercivity and is also known as soft magnetic ferrite. Due to their low magnetic loss at high frequencies, they are widely used in switch mode power supplies (SMPS), radio frequency (RF) transformers, and inductors. Ferrite cores of various shapes and sizes are used in inductors, pulse transformers, high-frequency transformers, and noise filters for high-frequency power supplies and high-quality communication markets. The biggest characteristics of magnetic ferrite are high permeability, good temperature characteristics, and low attenuation rate. Meici offers ten types of ferrite materials with magnetic permeability ranging from 750 μ to 10000 μ, and comes in different shapes including annular, non annular, and can shaped. Magnetic tape cores are important components of high reliability applications in complex electronic circuits, including military, aerospace, communication, oil drilling engineering, and nuclear reactors. The wound magnetic core and spool magnetic core are made of thin strips of high permeability nickel iron alloy, such as Square Orthool ®, Square Permalloy 80, Round Permalloy, Supermalloy, And Alloy 48, also known as Magnesil ® Grain oriented silicon steel. The specific applications of wound magnetic cores include magnetic amplifiers, converters and inverters, current transformers, and static magnetic field devices.
