Jaw crusher, commonly known as jaw crusher, also known as tiger mouth, is a crusher that consists of two jaw plates of a moving jaw and a static jaw to form a crushing cavity, simulating the movement of the two jaws of animals to complete the material crushing.
Purpose:
Jaw crushers are widely used in mine smelting, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy, chemical industry and other industries, and are used for the crushing of various ores and large materials.
The maximum compressive strength of the crushed material can reach 320Mpa.
Working principle:
The working principle of the jaw crusher is that the motor drives the belt and pulley, and the eccentric shaft makes the jaw move up and down. When the moving jaw rises, the angle between the elbow plate and the moving jaw becomes larger, pushing the moving jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate, and the material is squeezed, rubbed, ground and broken multiple times; when the moving jaw goes down, the clamping angle between the elbow plate and the moving jaw becomes smaller, and the moving jaw plate leaves the fixed jaw plate under the action of the pull rod and spring, and the crushed material is discharged from the lower mouth of the crushing cavity.

According to its structure and working method, jaw crushers can be divided into single-swing jaw crushers and double-swing jaw crushers.
It can also be divided into three types according to the width of the feed port: large, medium and small. The feed port with a width of more than 600mm is a large machine, a medium-sized machine with a feed port width of 300-600mm, and a small machine with a feeder width of less than 300mm.
