Features of glass-lined horizontal storage tank
1. Piezoelectric resistance: The glass-lined reaction pot has good insulation. When the glass-lined reaction pot is used to inspect the ceramic layer with a 20KV high-frequency electric spark within the specified thickness, the high-frequency electric spark cannot penetrate the ceramic layer.
2.Alkali resistance: The glass-lined reaction pot has worse corrosion resistance to alkaline solutions than acid solutions. However, the glass-lined reactor samples of our factory were corroded in 1N sodium hydroxide solution at a test temperature of 80ºC for 48h.
3.Acid resistance: Good corrosion resistance to various organic acids, inorganic acids, and organic solvents.
4.Impact resistance: The smaller the internal stress of the glass layer, the better the elasticity, the greater the hardness, and the higher the bending and compressive strength, the better the impact resistance.
The MS/carbon steel glass lined storage tank/ vessel is made by lining the inner surface of a steel container with glass containing high silicon dioxide. After high temperature burning, it is firmly adhered to the metal surface to become a composite product. Therefore, it has the dual advantages of glass stability and metal strength, and is an excellent corrosion-resistant equipment.
The MS/carbon steel glass lined vessel has two structures: separate and closed. The open type is for separating the body and the cover, and the middle is connected with a cushion and clip. The volume is generally below 5000L; the closed type is integrated with the body and cover, and the general volume is above 5000L. These two structures have their own advantages. The open type is more convenient to disassemble. If there is a problem with the nozzle on the tank cover, it can be easily removed and repaired separately, while the closed type has better sealing performance. Generally speaking, there are two types of open structure, flat welding butt flange connection and flat cover type.
