The working depth can be controlled and can reach 10-30 centimeters, allowing for soil fragmentation, leveling, and compaction to be completed in one pass. After the work is completed, the surface of the ground is relatively smooth, forming a good seedbed. This seedbed has the advantages of high uniformity, good consistency in working depth, suitable soil porosity, and strong water retention capacity. When using the power harrow on land with straw returning, the straw can be further buried in the soil, while a rotary tiller may bring buried straw back to the surface. Long-term use of a rotary tiller for land preparation can lead to soil compaction, while the power harrow, as it does not turn over the soil, can maintain soil moisture. On leveled land, the emergence rate of crops with the power harrow is significantly higher than with a regular rotary tiller. It is suitable for small-scale cultivation and is convenient for tractor operation.
