These Leica Low Profile Disposable Microtome Blades are made of stainless steel with extraordinary durability. An inventive blade coating process provides perceptibly improved results in section stretching and in the quality of sectioning ribbons in routine histology.
Cut the thin sections needed for diagnostic clarity.
The Leica 819 low-profile disposable blade provides a consistently sharp cutting tip suitable for cutting a variety of tissues such as biopsies and routine soft tissue.
The rectangular shaped corners allow the microtomist to use the full length of the microtome blade for sectioning. The dispenser alignment pin allows direct loading into suitable blade holders.
Ultra fine yet durable, the 80x8x0.25mm (LxHxD) thick blades are suitable for use with the Leica microtome and cryostat series as well as for common cryostat and microtome models.
