Typical Structure of Decanter Centrifuge Drum The decanter centrifuge, commonly referred to as the 'decanter,' is ingeniously composed of a drum, screw, differential, frame, cover, and more. Materials are continuously fed into the spiral inner cylinder via the feed pipe, subsequently being accelerated into the rotating drum. The screw then deftly propels the sludge towards the drum cone end, where it is efficiently expelled from the machine through the discharge port. Meanwhile, the lighter liquid phase elegantly forms an inner liquid ring, which gracefully spills out from the drum through the overflow port at the larger drum end, effortlessly draining through the machine's drain port.
