For this PVD Coating machine is used for broach tools and moulds, Broach knives are slender, slightly tapered cutting tools used to remove materila and perform precision finishing on the inner surface of round or non-round holes in engineered parts in the automotive and other industries.These tools come in a surprisingly wide range of sizes, up to 0.5 m in diameter and 2.5 m in length. The broach is manufactured piece in high speed steel (HSS) or tungsten carbide(WC). In order to extend the service life of these expensive industrial tools, the most advanced technology is the use of hard coatings to protect them.
ZY1822 coating machine is independent research and development of surper hard coating ion coating machine by IKS, using unique new arc source coating technology, IET etching system was used to optimize the coating adhesion. to ensure the coating thickness and coating uniformaity, At same time, the application of new technology improves the coating effect, save the operating cost.
Tool coating inspection index:
The thickness of the tool coating, adhesion and vickers hadness value are used as testing standards in tool coating detection. The measurement results of relevant data of the coating on the surface of the test block are compared, and the average value is selected for recording.
1,Thickness: The concave points on the surface of the test block were grind by the ball mill meter, and the thickness of the coating was obtained by calculating the formula data.
2,Adhesion: Using the rockwell hardness tester, select the appropriate load, grind on the surface of the test block to get a dot, according to the grain around the pressure point and the breakdown situation to divide the grade of adhesion.
3,Vickers hardness: Using vickers hardness tester, select the appropriate load, on the surface of the test block presspoint, through the compression diagonal size formula conversion, to get vickers hardness value.
