1. Characteristic of Machine
1) Large feeding hopper and chipping chamber, so wide range of application.
2) Feeding hopper is driven by chain and rotates, so compact structure, feed process is more smooth, and wood can be chipped in many directions.
3) When there are too many wood inside, feeding hopper can rotate reverse, to make the chipping process more smooth.
2. Main Structure
The stump crusher machine is mainly composed of chassis, dead knife base, dead knife, rotor, main shaft, blade, feeding hopper, discharge mechanism, hydraulic system and electric control system.
2.1 Chassis, dead knife base, dead knife
Chassis is welded by high strength steel plate and has the function of supporting the whole machine. There is dead knife base support on chassis which is used for installing dead knife base. Dead knife is fixed on the dead knife base by specially made high strength bolts via press block.
2.2 Rotor, main shaft, blade
Rotor is the working parts of stump crusher, is welded by high strength steel plate and has high intensity and rigidity.
Main shaft has excellent universal mechanical properties and is linked to rotor by locking device or flat key. It has the feature of reliable usage, easy disassembly and assembly.
Rotor is equipped with 6 pieces of blades, and is fixed on rotor by specially made high strength bolts.
After rotor, main shaft and blades are assembled, they will pass the dynamic balance test on dynamic balancing machine with precision grade no less than G6.3. Then, main shaft is supported by automatic self-aligning roller bearing on both ends and bearing seat is fixed on the chassis.
2.3 Feed hopper
Feed hopper rotates to assist feed and chipping. The feed quantity should be propriate and at even pace.
2.4 Discharging device
Discharging device is belt conveyor.
2.5 Hydraulic system
Use hydraulic system to overturn the feed hopper when maintenance is necessary.
2.6 Electrical control system
Electrical control system consists of motor, control cabinet, soft starter, frequency converter, AC contactor, circuit breaker, motor protector, time relay, thermal relay, time repeater, mutual inductor, voltage meter, ammeter, button switch, emergency stop switch, running indicator light, remote control etc. Please refer to the following circuit diagram.
