The Horizontal Ribbon Mixers are essential for the seamless mixing, stirring, and blending of powders, granular materials, slurries, or viscous substances. These mixers offer the flexibility of being equipped with a liquid spraying system and can be tailored to user specifications to function under vacuum, pressurized, heated, or cooled conditions. Horizontal ribbon mixers are extensively utilized across industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and building materials. They are adept at mixing powder with powder, integrating powder with a small quantity of liquid, and blending powder with granules.
The Horizontal Ribbon Mixer is primarily composed of a robust mixing chamber and an efficient stirrer drive device. Within the U-shaped tubular chamber lies a dual-layered, counter-rotating ribbon spiral agitator shaft. The outer spiral ribbon, powered to perfection, propels materials from the ends of the U-shaped chamber towards the center, while the inner spiral ribbon moves materials from the center towards the ends, orchestrating a dynamic convective mixing effect. The strategically positioned discharge port is centered at the bottom of the horizontal chamber. The ingeniously crafted spiral structure of the outer ribbon, working in harmony with the rotation direction of the main shaft, deftly channels the material within the chamber towards the central discharge port, ensuring an efficient discharge process devoid of dead corners.
