TPU Film for garments
The hydrophilic non-porous TPU film is combined with other materials to form a composite fabric, which can be used to directly produce waterproof clothing products.
These fabrics used to compound with TPU film are not waterproof themselves, such as polyester fiber, nylon, etc., so when we wear waterproof clothing in rainy days, we see water seeping into the clothing, just like ordinary clothing fabrics, but the inner layer of the garment is indeed dry and no water penetrates. This is the function of the waterproof film in the middle of the composite fabric.
TPU Film in garments: Waterproof and breathable films are mainly used in jackets, racing suits, waterproof suits, mountaineering shoes, sailing suits, windbreakers, cold-proof jackets, ski suits etc.
