Motor cable reel system1. Motor (with drive) Standard squirrel cage or torque motors, according to IEC Norms. Hydrodynamic cable reels can be supplied with a pneumatic or hydraulic motor.
2. Gearbox or Torque Unit Sever gearboxes and eight torque unites are available with variable output torque from 10-1200daNm.
3. Collector Standard sizes of collectors are available for power and signals. Current ratings vary from 10 to 2400Amp, voltages up to 30kV. We also manufacture customised collectors exceeding the above parameters.
4. The drums are composed of standard elements and can easily be adjusted to required widths. Standard drum diameters range from 300mm to 8700mm.
JARCH motorised cable reels are integrated in all potential ports crane applications, at the quay, at the yard or at the intermodal terminal.

System composition
1. Cable reel: Its external dimensions are determined according to the cable specifications and travel distance.
2. Collector box.
3. Variable frequency motor with brake.
4. Electric control system: Indoor type is electric control cabinet, outdoor type is electric control box.
5. Cable guide: There are universal cable guide and swing cable guide optional.
6. Encoder junction box: Select when selecting indoor electric control cabinet.
7. Remote control box: Optional accessories, can be installed at the leg of the large car door, provide simple cable winding and fault reset functions (optional).
8. Guide frame: Optional accessories, used to change the direction of the cable, bridge crane, etc. (optional).
Conditions of use
Altitude generally does not exceed 2000 meters (customization is required for special cases).
Ambient temperature: -20℃~+45℃.
It is allowed to work in places exposed to rain, splashing water and no corrosive gas and dust.
The maximum vibration condition of the installation part is: 1.5mm displacement at 5~13Hz, and 10m/s2 vibration acceleration at 13~150Hz
The protection level of the collector box and outdoor electric control box is IP54.
System principle and system function
The JARCH series variable frequency cable reel adopts torque control with speed force. Through onboard PLC programming, the motor output torque is accurately calculated by advanced algorithms to achieve constant tension on the cable. At the same time, the system also provides multiple protections, which greatly improves the safety and reliability of the system.

The system provides the following functions:
Adopting frequency conversion control, the onboard PLC calculates the torque output to achieve constant tension on the cable.
The system operation and stop are controlled by the system operation signal.
The system feeds back three signals of "system normal", "system operation" and "cable full reel" to the PLC or the driver's room to protect the equipment and cables to the maximum extent, and facilitate the driver to monitor the working status of the system during operation.
In case of system failure, the system can be reset through the local and remote reset buttons.
Provide protection for empty and full cable reels.
