ANKA Carbon Monoxide Detector
The ANKA Carbon Monoxide Detector with Long-Life Lithium Battery, Digital Display, and 3 LEDs, model AJ-83X (X=0,1,2,3,5) features electrochemical sensing technology to help protect you and your family from the dangers of carbon monoxide. Operating on a long-life, sealed lithium battery, the CO alarm provides reliable detection of carbon monoxide, even during power outages. The digital display shows ongoing CO monitoring, updating every 12 seconds to show the level of carbon monoxide in your home. Three LEDs indicate the status of the alarm: a green LED will flash once every 30 seconds to indicate the alarm is operating properly when power is present, a red LED will pulse 4 short beeps to indicate CO gas has been detected until the device is reset or the gas is eliminated, and an amber LED will flash every second to signal an error or a low battery. The Peak Level Memory function allows you to see the highest level of CO concentration measured since the alarm was last reset, while the Test/Reset button allows you to test the carbon monoxide alarm to ensure that it's working correctly. For whole home family detection, place one carbon monoxide detector on each level of your home and near every bedroom.
