Brief Introduction
Digital Robot 500C is a fully automated single-clamp perfect binder with a max speed of up to 360 cycles/hour. It features a fully automated set-up through a touch screen or via barcode scanning, integrated thickness auto-measurement, short changeover time for various binding formats, and an interchangeable EVA and PUR system (option). Book of one production takes on a new level of convenience and stability.
Features Integrated Auto Book Thickness Measurement: Simply put the book block in the pneumatic book clamp, book thickness will be automatically measured and the machine will finish all thickness-relevant adjustments in just 5 seconds, which provides greater production efficiency for various binding formats. Fast Automatic Changeover: Automatic job changeover can be accurately completed down to 5s for book thickness change and book formats at the fastest speed. Independent Gluing Stations: The independent spine gluing station and side gluing station ensure accurate glue application to the spine and two sides of the book block for superior binding quality. Optional PUR Gluing Station: User-oriented moveable glue tank design allows changeover between EVA and PUR glue application system in just minutes. Designed for Industrial Production: Digital Robot 500C can run 24 hours x 7 days to ensure ultimate production needs, thanks to the robust construction with European high-quality standards.

	Touch Screen Control System The icon-based 10-inch touchscreen enables ease of operation. Inputting the required book format and production parameters on the touch screen or via scanning barcode, the set-up will be automatically finished in 30s at the fastest speed. The control system can memorize 99 jobs and be retrieved as requested.
	Pneumatic Book Clamp Simply put the book block in the pneumatic book clamps, book thickness will be automatically measured, and all relevant work steps will be set accordingly. The vibration unit aligns the book block precisely before the book clamps close. The double activation button and safety light curtain ensure high safety operation.
	Milling Station The step motor allows the milling station opening width to auto-adjust according to the detected thickness. While Space-saving design integrated milling and notching, brushing. Operators can use switch handles to easily enable and disable milling as needed.
	Moveable EVA Spine Gluing Station Dual spine gluing rollers guarantee top binding quality. Spine gluing length and thickness are adjusted automatically and accurately. Changeover between EVA and PUR systems can be easily completed in minutes. Independent Side Gluing Station The opening width of two side gluing rollers is automatically adjusted by the step motor. Even thin side glue is applied by the independent side gluing station with two application discs.
	Cover Feeding Station The top in-feed cover feeder design significantly reduces drag marks. Cover scoring position is automatically adjusted according to the input thickness; Sensitive double-feed and miss-feed defection devices ensure accurate feeding for every cover.
	Pneumatic Nipping Station The pneumatic-controlled nipping station can be automatically adjusted at the fastest speed according to the book block thickness. Thanks to the accurate and reliable nipping mechanism, the cover can be precisely and firmly nipped with the book block.
