The characteristics after improvement are as follows:
The feed and dressing-compensation systems are two independent systems so that it is unnecessary to readjust machinery after changing a new wheel. The feed system is capable of performing sizematic grinding cycle to control the final size of the workpiece.
A jumping device is equipped on these machinery, therefore, it is unnecessary to manually reset the machinery after measuring or dressing.
The worktable is driven by hydralic system. The speed can be adjusted steplessly.
The wheel feed can be carried out either manually or hydraulically.
The worktable is equipped with an axial micro-movement device for grinding end faces with the internal grinding spindle.
A thyristor convertor is provided for work spindle for speed variation.
There is a machined surface on the bed for installing steady-rest when grinding long workpieces.
Model MD 2120A Internal Grinder is equipped with a end face grinding attachment, hence, bore and outside end face can be ground at one setup.
The machine is provided with a grinding spindle of 18000r/min. The grinding capacity can reach as small as 20mm I. D.
