USES:
Ferric chloride tetrahydrate is widely used in many chemical reactions:
Used for the preparation of ferric chloride and other compounds.
For the preparation of other metal salts, such as cobalt chloride, nickel chloride, etc.
It is used in the preparation of dyeing agent, strengthening of paper and sewage treatment.
Used as chemical reagent, industrial catalyst and water treatment agent.
Used as educing agent, sewage treatment, detection of selenium.
Also used for agate dyeing, chemical catalyst, mordant, metallurgical plating.
