RTD Mineral Insulated Wire Product Description
1. Introduction MI RTD cable is used for RTD assembly. RTD mi cable , RTD MIC, has a stainless steel or Inconel outer metal sheath with copper or Nickel signal wire conductors. The conductor lead wires are insulated from each other and the outer sheath by compacted magnesium oxide MgO. Metric and standard US inch diameters are manufactured in a range of OD sizes with 2 ,3 , 4 or 6 wire internal conductors. The 4 wire design is produced in wide or standard pattern layout in various diameters. Coil lengths of 50 to 1000 ft are typical.

Waterproof: Copper sheathing is waterproof and resistant to ultraviolet light and many corrosive elements. MI cable is approved by electrical codes for use in areas with hazardous concentrations of flammable gas in air.
Fireproof: MI cable can withstand very high temperatures (higher than 1000°C), since all its components are inorganic. It can go on working during a fire, maintaining power to all emergency services, allowing all safety and protection measures within the building to be activated.
