This valve is a pilot-operated, liquid-controlled check valve. It has sealed pressure guidance, a steel valve seat, and is with an external interface. It allows free flow of liquid from the valve port (port 2) to the load port (port 1), and blocks the reverse. The pressure at the pilot port (port 3) opens the valve, allowing flow from port 1 to port 2. The pilot pressure required to open port3 is directly proportional to the load pressure at port 1. Since the spring chamber is connected to the external interface (port 4), the valve is not affected the pressure at port 2.
The pilot pressure only needs to be 75 psi (5 bar) higher than the pressure at the relief port to open the.
The maximum pressure that port 4 (the relief port) can withstand is 5000 psi (350 bar).
A pilot-operated check is a lock valve, not a motion control valve. For motion control, please use a balance valve.
4-port pilot-operated check valves and 4-port balance are interchangeable in terms of structure (for the same specifications, they have the same flow path and the same hole pattern). However, please note that their external dimensions may different.
Approximately one drop (0.07 cc) of leakage can occur for every 4000 cycles, leaking from the pilot chamber into the chamber.
For manual load release control, turning clockwise can reduce the load.
