GLIMPSE 6-stand cold rolling mill unit is designed basing on the mature S-High (18-roll) cold rolling technology, and six stands of 18-high cold rolling mills are arranged in series. This 6-stand cold rolling mill unit is a very competitive stainless steel cold rolling technology in the global domain. This 6-stand cold rolling mill unit is designated for large scale cold rolling stainless steel coils with thickness range 0.3-3.0mm and width range 800-1300mm.
Three big advantages of GLIMPSE S-High 6-stand tandem cold rolling mill:
1) High production capacity. The steel belt passes through multiple rolling machines, rolled at a time, and does not stop in the middle. Compared with the reversible rolling machine, because the rolling machine does not require multiple bands, each rolling does not require deceleration and shutdown, so the production efficiency of the rolling machine is high.
2) High efficiency. This unit is continuously produced. The front and rear steel rolls are welded together. Compared with each rolling head and tail of the reversible rolling machine, the incomplete rate of rolling machine is high.
3) Low energy consumption. Compared with the stand -alone reversible tissue, the rolling machine saved the configuration of multiple large power collection and volumes, which greatly reduced the power consumption, so the power consumption was reduced.
