Continuous feed hopper provides maximum compost flow-through efficiency. The compost screen is capable of handling up to 90 cubic yards per hour. Dividing towbar can be folded back against the screen for easy removal of overs. Choose screen size of ¼ or ½ inch with other sizes available to suit your needs. Optional 2 x 2 inch inner protective screen & hydraulic jacks. Extra support heavy-duty steel bands ensure the handling of tough loads. Full-length brushes clean compost screen of debris as it rotates. A collector conveyor that runs the full length of the screen discharging past the end of the feeder hopper allows for easy removal of screened compost. Additional scraper prevents build up. An adjustable bar under the conveyor can be connected to a stacking conveyor allowing for 180º movement of the stacking conveyor. Hydraulically driven by a 1.5 litre, 3 cylinder Caterpillar diesel motor, the compost screener operates with ease and efficiency. All compost screener machines come with 1 year warranty. Compost trommel screens were designed for efficiency and ease of maintenance. The large feed hopper sits low to the ground, making it easy to feed material into the screening drum with a variety of loading equipment. Removable side panels expose the full length of the drum screen, providing for easy maintenance and cleaning. Put the finished product where you need it – loading directly into a truck or stockpiling using the optional radial stacking conveyor on select models that swings a full 200 degrees. Avoid jams with both the drum and feed conveyor being reversible. With the ability to tension the screen around the drum, operators can add rigidity to the screens. This design allows the use of smaller gauge wire, ultimately increasing the open area of the screen to help improve productivity . Compost trommel screens are designed to minimize setup time and be easy and convenient to service.
