1. Performance characteristics of high-voltage PVC cables

Compared with XLPE: XLPE insulating materials have higher heat resistance and electrical properties, and can withstand higher temperatures and voltage levels, so they are more widely used in the field of high-voltage cables. In contrast, PVC materials are slightly insufficient in heat resistance and electrical properties.
Compared with PE: PE insulating materials also have high voltage resistance and insulation properties, but their tensile strength is relatively low, and additional mechanical protection measures are required. PVC materials are better than PE in mechanical properties, but may be slightly inferior in electrical properties and heat resistance.
Compared with silicone rubber: Silicone rubber insulating materials have excellent high temperature resistance and weather resistance, but the price is relatively high. PVC material has an advantage in cost, but it is not as good as silicone rubber in terms of high temperature resistance and weather resistance.
In summary, high-voltage PVC cables have certain advantages in electrical performance, mechanical performance, heat resistance, etc., but their application in the field of high-voltage cables is relatively limited.
