The use of combine harvesters is seasonal and has a long idle time. To maintain the good technical condition of the harvester and extend its service life, maintenance during the idle phase is very important.
The harvester should be stored in a dry and ventilated area with a high and hard ground, and supported by wooden blocks at a sturdy position near the tire frame. The four support points should be on the same horizontal plane to avoid deformation of the frame. It is advisable to support the tire at a height of 20-50 mm above the ground, releasing 2/3 of the gas inside the tire to prevent premature aging. Loosen the adjustment bolt of the header buffer spring to put it in a state.
