Counterweight Cast Iron
Counterweightprimarily made from Cast Iron or Ductile Iron, it is used to counterbalance aload. A single Counterweight can range from 1 kg to 55 tons.
A counterweight istypically used to counterbalance a load, thus helps control the ascending anddescending acceleration force and substantially reducing the amount of power& energy needed for the process operation. Apart from application areaswhere the counterweight is visible from outside, the surface finish required isvery marginal.
