Density The density of FRP is small (1.4~2.0g/cm), which is 1/6-1/4 of ordinary steel, about 1/3 lighter than aluminum, but itsmechanical strength can reach or exceed the level of ordinary steel, and its strength even exceeds Special alloy steel.2. Thermal conductivity FRP has poor thermal conductivity, low thermal conductivity, and low linear expansion coefficient (thermalconductivity is only 1/1000~1/100 of the amount of gold). So it is an excellent protective and flame-resistant material.3.
