Introduction:
This edible oil refiner is suitable for small oil plants. It is a compact structure and made of all stainless steel. It can refine all kinds of crude vegetable oil and animal oil.
Below are the main steps of its work:
1.Degumming: To get rid of gums in crude oil by adding hot water into the oil refining tanks.
2.Deacidification: Add food grade alkali water to neutralize the FFA (free fatty acid) and form soapstock, which is used for soap making.
3.Bleaching : crude oil contains a lot of pigments, such as carotene, xanthophyll, etc. We can use activated clay (bleaching
earth) to remove them, because bleaching earth has strong adsorption ability. It can absorb the pigments in crude oil. Thus oil can be transparent, and light-colored.
4. Oil filtering: we use a vacuum leaf filter to filter the used bleaching earth.
5. Deodorizing : crude oil has their special smell because of some volatile matters, such as ketone oxide, aldehydes,
hydrocarbons. In this step, we add steam generated by a steam generator into oil continuously, and make sure that steam and oil can fully contact under high temperature and pressure, then volatile matters can be removed out with the steam.
6. Fine filtering: we use a bag filter to do the last step, make sure that the final oil can reach first grade cooking oil.

Refining crude oil : soybean oil, mustard seed oil, cottonseed oil, sunflower seed oil, peanut oil, rice bran oil, safflower seed oil, corn germ oil, camellia seed oil, etc.
