Class 150/300 Aramid Fiber Flat Gasket As Per Standard ASME B16.21 for Raised Flange
A flat gasket is often installed between two flanges, hence the name flange gasket. Flat gaskets can also be installed between other parts, such as a cylinder head or to seal a faucet. Applications include, for example, sealing of motor machines and equipment, process industry piping and equipment connections.
Flat gaskets are universal sealing elements with a large range of application in all branches of industry. They can be used within a temperature range of – 200 °C up to a maximum of + 550 °C. A suitable material should be selected depending on the medium, medium concentration, temperature and type of flange being used.
Applications:
Suitable for water/oil resistant gasket material for light to medium loading. Suitable for low operating pressure, e.g. transformers, compressors and also used for easily deformable components with low surface pressure like valve covers and pans in internal combustion engines.
Material:
Made of good long free Asbestos fiber, oil-resistant synthetic rubber, heat-resistanting packing material compound heating and compression molding it.
Colors:
