Application fields of silicon carbide wear-resistant pipes
1. Industrial sector
It has been widely used in industries such as power, metallurgy, coal, petroleum, chemical, building materials, and machinery. When materials with high grindability are transported through wear-resistant pipelines (such as ash, coal powder, concentrate, tailings, cement, etc.), silicon carbide wear-resistant pipelines can play a wear-resistant role. And it is widely used in industries such as medium frequency forging, various heat treatment electric furnaces, metallurgy, chemical industry, and non-ferrous metal smelting. It is widely used in metallurgical sintering furnaces and medium frequency heating forging furnaces. It is also widely used in kilns such as construction, hygiene, daily-use ceramics, high-voltage electric ceramics, magnetic materials, powder metallurgy, microcrystalline glass, as well as in electronics, machinery, chemical industry, aerospace and other fields. It is also applied in mechanical forging in industries such as automobiles, motorcycles, tractors, etc., such as silicon carbide homogenizers for power plants, heat radiation pole tubes, and lining temperature measuring tubes in non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces. Silicon carbide wear-resistant tubes are also used in molten metal pipelines.

It is an ideal material for wear-resistant pipelines, impellers, pump chambers, cyclones, and mining hopper liners. It is also suitable for components with poor working conditions such as sealing rings and other wear-resistant parts. Coating silicon carbide powder on the inner wall of the turbine impeller or cylinder block can improve wear resistance and service life.
