Product Description

GZL-160 Roller Compactor is a granulation equipment that integrates raw material powder extrusion molding - crushing and granulation. The powdery material can be made into granules of the required mesh size, which increases the specific gravity and fluidity of the material. Through the screw horizontal feeding, pressure roller cooling, auxiliary exhaust and two-stage granulation system, the fineness of the finished product is effectively reduced. The powder content improves the granulation quality of the drug, and provides a good material preparation for the subsequent tableting and capsule filling. The equipment has strong applicability to various materials. The granulation process does not use any additives, and can be made into granules with the required mesh according to different needs. It has the characteristics of simple process, large production batch, and easy cleaning and maintenance. Can be widely used in medicine, food, chemical and other industries. Functions:
The raw material is mechanically compacted and subsequently granulated.

The processing step is especially suitable for the products with heat sensitivity and humidity sensitivity.
·Feeding device;
·By using screw feeder, the material is forced to flow and pre-compacted. The rotating speed of screw feeder is adjustable.
·It is equipped with auxiliary degassing function to increase the compactness of materials.
·The rollers are placed vertically, the surface is treated specially with hard hardness.
·Using different shapes of rollers according to different materials.
·Adopting steady hydraulic system with the pressure to be continuously adjusted, to ensure steady pressure and uniform material density.

Compacting The raw materials are fed into the horizontal screw feeder by a feeding device. Usually, the products are fed manually. Feeding screw transfer the products directly into the nip angle of rollers which are vertically installed. An auxiliary degassing function contributes to process the fluidized materials with low density. The compacting of materials is excuted by rollers under hydraulic pressure. The hydraulic system with the pressure can be adjusted. The production of particles will reach highest after the crushing by 1 set crusher and 1 sets of granulator. It is available to obtain the particles with narrow size distribution with this method. Design concept of the machine is based on the division of process area and technical area. The design of machine conforms to GMP requirements, easy to be dismounted and cleaned. The rollers are placed vertically, which could eliminate the effect of gravity for powders. The particle size range is 0-X. When necessary, must separate the micro materials out. The quality of flakes are determined by the pressure of screw rod and rollers, the gap among rollers and water cooling. The control towards pressing force is independently.During operation, the pressure among rollers will be transferred from hydraulic system to control unit by a pressure sensor. The pressure (bar) of rollers will be displayed in control unit. By using a pressure measuring system after calibration, the pressure among rollers in the whole pressure area can be tested. Working Principle
Using auxiliary degassing in front of rollers could improve the feeding and exhaust in order to produce compacted products with high quality.

The design adopts international advanced technology that the air passage will be produced during powder compacting,which solves the degassing problems, the compacting rate is increased 20%.
