Non-magnetic die steel 5Cr21 product introduction
5Cr21 non-magnetic die steel, known as 5Cr21Mn9Ni4N non-magnetic die steel, is low nickel austenitic non-magnetic stainless die steel and internal combustion engine valve steel. The steel has high hardness (>60HRC), excellent wear resistance, low permeability (<0.01H/m), has good toughness and excellent corrosion resistance at 700℃, is the ideal material for making non-magnetic mold, stable chemical composition, superior performance, long service life, rust resistance. After dozens of magnetic material factory application, is currently replacing 7Mn15, 70Mn, 50Mn and other non-magnetic steel special non-magnetic die steel.

Heat treatment specification:
Specification for solution treatment and aging
Solution temperature 1100~1200℃, water cooling, hardness about 30HRC, aging temperature (730±780)°C, hardness from 30HRC to 35HRC.

Delivery status of non-magnetic die steel 5Cr21
Delivery in heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or non-heat treatment condition shall be indicated in the contract.
