Pneumatic slips are mainly used for oil drilling lifting and lowering operations, with the function of automatically clamping and releasing the drill string. ‌
Pneumatic slip is a mechanical device that uses compressed air as power to achieve automatic lifting and lowering of the slip body through the up and down movement of the cylinder, used to clamp drilling tools in the well during drilling operations. It has the functions of automatic centering and automatic disc scraping, which enables the drilling tool to be firmly clamped at any position, and the entire process only requires foot operation to complete the lifting and lowering of the drilling tool. This type of slip not only increases the speed of lifting and drilling operations, but also reduces the labor intensity of workers, improving the safety and efficiency of operations.
