In food industry, is a multifunctional ingredient that can be used as an acid regulator, anticaking agent and nutrient supplement in food.
It could be an acid regulator due to its weak alkaline (ph value 8.4 to 9.6 with 1% solution); used as an anticaking agent and moisture retention agent for its hygroscopic; as a quality improver for condensed milk; as a stabilizer for dairy products, meat and fish products; a component in mixed salt for curing, and etc 8. Storage & Transportation: It should be stored in a ventilated, dry warehouse. Do not pile up in the open air, pay attention to moisture proof. Do not store and mix with toxic and harmful substances. Protect against rain and sun in the course of transpor-tation. When loading and unloading, take it lightly and put it lightly to prevent the package from breaking and getting wet. In case of fire, water, sand and all kinds of fire extinguishers can be used to fight the fire.
