Diesel generator mobile compost screener with stacking conveyorProduct DescriptionCompost Sifter provides a simple, efficient and economical solution to upgrade a wide range of materials and optimize the subsequent process steps of recovery. This method of screening helps to reduce operating and investment costs and to increase product quality, while allowing rapid and large volume processing. This material is then passed onto the downstream process equipment which can be in various forms, such as centrifugal concentrate, spiral chute, jig, etc. Our compost sifter is constructed of high quality material, designed for high performance, high production rates, lower operating costs and lower maintenance. Removable side panels expose the full length of the drum screen, providing for easy maintenance and cleaning. Put the finished product where you need it – loading directly into a truck or stockpiling using the optional radial stacking conveyor on select models that swings a full 200 degrees. Avoid jams with both the drum and feed conveyor being reversible. With the ability to tension the screen around the drum, operators can add rigidity to the screens. This design allows the use of smaller gauge wire, ultimately increasing the open area of the screen to help improve productivity . Screening is a unit operation which involves the segregation of a mixture of materials with different particle size distributions into two or more fractions (each fraction having relatively similar particle size distribution) by means of one or more sets of screen mesh openings (or screening surfaces). The material that remains on the screening surface generally is known as the oversize (or plus) material. The material that passes through the screen apertures commonly is referred to as the undersize (or minus) material.
