working Principle
(1) Paper calendering is a mechanical process that compresses the paper web and improves surface properties. Therefore, calendering reflects the quality standards of the papermaking and coating process.
(2) Calendering includes three elements: pressure, relative deformation and temperature of paper and pulp rolls.
(3) The efficiency of calendering is the approximate balance between the responsiveness of the coated paper and the total amount of calendering provided. The responsiveness of coated paper is determined in advance by the characteristics of the paper and its coating.
