DS90UB947-Q1 is a bridge device from OpenLDI to FPD-Link III, which is connected with FPD-Link IIIDS90UB940-Q1/DS90UB948-
Q1 deserializer can be used together to provide single or dual channel high-speed serial flow through cost-effective 50 Ω single ended coaxial cable or 100 Ω differential shielded twisted pair (STP) cable. It serializes OpenLDI inputs and supports video resolutions up to WUXGA and 1080p60 (24 bit color depth).
FPD-Link III interface supports video and audio data transmission and full duplex control (including I2C and SPI communication) through the same differential link. The integration of video data and control through two differential pairs can reduce the size and weight of interconnects and simplify system design. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is reduced to a greater extent through the use of low-voltage differential signaling, data transposition, and random generation. In backward compatibility mode, the device can support up to WXGA and 720p resolution (24 bit color depth) on a single differential link.
DS90UB947-Q1 supports receiving multi-channel audio through the external I2S interface. The audio data received by the device will be encrypted and sent through the FPD-LinkIII interface, and then regenerated by the deserializer.
