There must be at least 1 inch of space in between the heat source and FirePad for proper heat protection. The FirePad is NOT recommended for use with the Solo Stove or other products where the source of heat will be in direct contact with the FirePad
Since the hottest part of the fire is in the center of the pit, it is most important to have adequate protection in the center.
