EFB Shredder / EFB Crusher is special machine to crush the Oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB) to short fiber. It is also a good machine to crush coconut shell. It is widely used in many different industries.
Working principle:
EFB Shredder/ EFB Crusher consists of knife drum, body frame, electric motor or diesel engine, feed and outfeed conveyor, control cabinet, etc.

There are 4-12 knives fixed on the knife drum which is drove to rotate on high speed. The EFB will meet the rotating knives when they are feed into the EFB Shredder by the force feed rollers. Then the EFB will be cut by knives and become small fiber of uniform size. Finally, the qualified fiber fall onto the conveyor belt after passing the screen.

Raw material to process:
EFB Shredder / EFB Crusher mainly used to crush soft biomass materials such as EFB (Oil palm empty fruit bunches), Coconut shell, Grass, Straw, etc.

EFB Shredder infeed and outlet system:
There are two types of feed conveyor for choice. Rubber belt conveyor for light raw materials such as tree branches and small logs. For heave wood materials, steel chain plate conveyor is a better solution. It is of much strong and have much longer running life. EFB Shredder is usually equipped with rubber belt outlet conveyor. Length 10m and height 5m. The size is also customized as user's need.
The short fiber will be finally transported to silo or a lorry / truck from the machine.

EFB Fiber size:
The fiber made by EFB Shredder are normally in the range of 10-80mm to meet the requirements of different use.
For special use, the fiber could be also designed to much smaller or bigger as customer's request.

Control system:
All the running section of the EFB Shredder is controlled by one control panel.
The control panel is equipped with infeed, outlet, emergency stop control buttons, etc. All the control panel have motor protection function.
For security, there is remote controlling solution for choice. It is a effective solution to protect the wood chipper operators.
