The filter system consists of a sturdy hinged aluminium frame. The frame supports two epoxy powder-coated aluminum screens. Inside are two special fiber collection pads, carbon cotton deodorant pads, and a central aluminium mesh to separate the replaceable collection pads. The power header operates at 24 volts, providing high voltage to the collector pad. This creates a high-value electric field that creates a multitude of polarized fibers that pull particles out of the air much like a powerful magnet attracts iron filings. The supplied 6-foot wire ensures that the filter can be installed in any 1" filter holder orientation.
