Razor wire is also known as concertina wire or barbed tape, It consists of sharp razor blades and steel wire, which is a passive safety product with extremely high security. Razor wire is often installed on top of various fences or walls to further strengthen its protection or spread out on the ground to form an impassable barrier.
It is widely used for property protection and border protection in residential areas, commercial areas, factories, bases, prisons, mining areas, and borderlines. Sometimes used in conjunction with barbed wire to form the ultimate high-security perimeter protection barrier.

2. Hot-dip galvanized steel or stainless steel materials provide excellent corrosion resistance and can cope with various harsh environments.

Concertina Razor wire is mainly made of steel wire (core wire) and steel plate (razor blade). We provide three material grades and four combinations for the manufacture of razor coils. Each combination has a different performance and cost. You can choose according to your budget and usage needs, or request our recommendation.
Three materials include Low Carbon Steel, High Tensile Steel, and Stainless Steel.
And four combinations:
1. Low Carbon Steel Wire + Low Carbon Steel Plate.
2. High Carbon Steel Wire + Low Carbon Steel Plate.
3. High Carbon Steel Wire + SS Plate.
4. SS Wire + SS Plate.
Note: Ordinary steel material needs surface treatment to prevent corrosion, stainless steel material does not.
Anti-corrosion Treatment
For the anti-corrosion treatment of concertina razor wire, we provide several coating grades and combinations. Including:
1. Electro-galvanized: 15 g/m²
2. Hot-dip galvanized normal zinc: 40 g/m²
3. Hot-dip galvanized high zinc: 200-300 g/m²
4. Powder-coated
And three coating combinations:
1. Hot-dip galvanized plate + electro-galvanized wire
2. Hot-dip galvanized plate + hot-dip galvanized wire
3. Powder coated after galvanized
Razor Blade Styles
The blade styles are mainly divided into two series: BTO (Barbed Tape Obstacle) and CBT (Concertina Barbed Tape).
Among them, there are five most commonly used styles, including BTO-10 (Short Blade), BTO-22 (Medium blade), BTO-30 (Tear Blade), CBT-60 (Fish-Hook Blade), CBT-65 (Long Blade).
