Instrument Introduction
The instrument is suitable for determining the content of wax, gum and asphaltene in crude oil. The method is to dissolve a sample with n-heptane, filter out the insoluble matter, and use n-heptane to reflux to remove the oil wax and glue mixed in the insoluble matter. After the asphaltenes were dissolved, the asphaltenes were dissolved by reflux, and the solvent was removed to obtain the asphaltenes content. Anoth er sample was separated from the oil-wax part by an alumina chromatographic column, and then the acetone mixture was used as the dewaxing solvent, and the wax content was determined by the freeze crystallization method. The gum content was obtained by subtraction method.
