The sealing rings are designed to seal off and retain the medium inside the chamber. It is ensured by the surface geometry of the combined seal rings. Sealing rings are widely used to prevent abrasion between the pump impeller and the pump housing to improve the water flow at the inlet of the pump and improve pump efficiency.
