The Horizontal Ploughshare Mixer is a highly efficient single-shaft forced mixing device, meticulously designed with multiple sets of staggered ploughshare agitators. These agitators are precisely installed to eliminate mixing dead spots, ensuring seamless operation. As the mixer operates, the staggered ploughs generate continuous vortex centrifugal forces, causing a dynamic overlap and scattering of material flows. This results in a boiling, convective circulation that achieves rapid and homogeneous mixing of materials.
For cohesive materials such as fibers, damp clumps, or liquid-aggregated powders, the mixer is equipped with high-speed choppers, strategically installed at a 45-degree downward angle on the mixer drum's side. The chopper blades extend into the drum's interior, where materials propelled by the ploughshares enter the chopper's effective range. These materials are then sheared at high speed, enabling efficient de-agglomeration and thorough separation.
The Horizontal Ploughshare Mixer is adept at handling the mixing of solid powders and granules, making it ideal for batch mixing processes that incorporate liquid additions. It finds extensive application in the food, chemical, and construction materials industries.
