Product Description

The Horizontal Ribbon Mixers are commonly used for mixing, stirring, and blending powders, granular materials, slurries, or viscous substances. They can be equipped with a liquid spraying system and can be designed according to user requirements to operate under vacuum, pressurized, heated, or cooled conditions. This versatility meets the mixing and stirring needs of materials under various process conditions. Horizontal ribbon mixers are widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and building materials industries. They can be used for mixing powder with powder, mixing powder with a small amount of liquid, and mixing powder with granules.
The Horizontal Ribbon Mixer consists mainly of a mixing chamber and a stirrer drive device. Inside the U-shaped tubular chamber, a double-layered, counter-rotating ribbon spiral agitator shaft is installed. The outer spiral ribbon, driven by power, pushes materials from both ends of the U-shaped chamber towards the center, while the inner spiral ribbon pushes materials from the center towards the ends, creating a convective mixing effect . The discharge port is located at the center of the bottom of the horizontal chamber. The spiral structure of the outer ribbon, combined with the rotation direction of the main shaft, drives the material inside the chamber towards the central discharge port, ensuring there are no dead corners during discharge .
