The definition of heavy duty horizontal lathe ?
1. It has heavy load capacity, generally it can load above 20 T work-piece, normally the popular load capacity is 45T , such as sugar mill cylinder, roll, turbine, shaft , etc.
2. It has more complex internal strucutre in headstock of horizontal lathe machine, For example: the spindle diameter has more and larger diameter, it has much more bearings and gears in headstock of lathe. All spindle shafts are froged and precisionly machining .
3. The lathe has 4 guide rails with 2000 mm wide. The common horizontal lathe has only 2 guide rails with only 755 mm or 1100mm wide .
4. Tailstock is equipped with a hydraulic clamping system with a pressure display device. It can display the clamping pressure between headstock and tailstock of the heavy duty horizontal lathe machine
5. Tailstock spindle is a special internal built-in rotation spindle with high accuracy and precision, it can be used as both live center and dead center. It can be changed per the user's demands.

1. Headstock is a kind of heavy duty type with more complex structure internally, such as it has more bearings, gears, shafts , the Torque Ratio is much more large than others. 2. Design a 4 guide rails with heavy load capacity , high rigidity and stability during heavy cutting process. it can be equipped with RENISHAW Measure Decive and grating rulers.

3. Tailstock is equipped with a hydraulic clamping system and pressure display device to display the pressure between centers. It is a very safe protection design, the operator can adjust the pressure according to the data display in the device.
